Rules and Policies

  • You are responsible for reading the assigned materials as stated in the syllabus.

  • You are given an advance notice as to when your assignments are due.  There will be penalties for late submission.  Please refer to your syllabus. 

  • There will not be any extra credit assignments.

  • No make-up test is given. A verifiable note/certificate must be presented to me if a test is missed. Makeup tests for excused absences only will be administered at my discretion.  I reserve the rights to give these tests in an essay format.

  • When leaving a message, you must clearly indicate your name, your phone number (including the area code and your extension), the nature of your call, and the time (AM and PM) so that I can return your call.  Please note that email is preferred when communicating with me.

  • When sending email, the course number should be used as your subject heading.  Otherwise, the email maybe forwarded to the spam folder (at which it maybe deleted automatically).

  • All assignments must have the Assignment Cover Page (when required - refer to your syllabus). The cover page must be completed and signed.

  • It is the students' responsibility to be aware and avoid computer viruses. Disks turned in and/or attachments that contain a computer virus will cause the student's grade to be “F”.

  • Plagiarism is cheating and is against academic policy and make cause the student to receive a grade of "F".   For more information , visit Plagiarism Policy and Penalties.
